Something most people don’t know about me is that St. Paddy’s Day is my favorite holiday – yup! Before Christmas, Thanksgiving, and maybe even my birthday (especially as the number keeps getting higher…) I love the music! the color! the folklore! the food! I have a whole drawer dedicated to the St. P-Day outfits I’ve worn throughout the years that I just can’t get myself to give away. I’m avoiding the craziness of the pubs and throwing my own party this year, so I’ve found some DIY crafts for every St. Paddy’s Day party to get started (whiskey bar not included haha)
DIY Crafts for Every St. Paddy’s Day Party
These treats make great party favors and gifts for neighbors or coworkers, or can be placed around the house to add color to tables, hearths, etc.
Gum Ball Milk Jar – This puts the “easy” is Easy Crafts. Like, for real. Buy jar. Buy candy. Print FREE printable. Fill. Attach card. I’m pretty sure it took me longer to type the instructions than to actually make one. Plus, you can make these in various sizes depending on how many guests you’re hosting.
No Pinch Pills & Shamrock Seeds – These are so cute and small, they’re perfect to place in a bowl by the door for friends to take as they’re walking out the door. Ever wondered what people do with the bulk Tic-Tacs from Costco?! This, apparently.
Pot o’ Gold – Decorate your old herb planters and fill them with chocolate coins!
Shamrock Mason Jar – You can fill this with anything, but I love the idea of filling it with colored pencils for your child’s teachers!
Treat Jars w/ Rainbow Printable – These are as easy as the Gum Ball Jar above. This cute printable says “You’re the gold at the end of my rainbow.” Awwww…it’s like Valentine’s Day all over again 🙂
Green Pasta – Dye your own pasta and wrap in Cellophane bags for your guests to take, or fill vases with dried pasta and place in your kitchen.
$5 / 5 Minute Wreath – It really doesn’t get any easier than this! Hang this cute wreath on your door to welcome your guests 🙂
FREE St. Patrick’s Printables – This set comes complete with water bottle labels, candy wrappers, signs, and folding food cards, making it a little easier to turn EVERYTHING green. Yayyy!
Leprechaun Treat Cups – Fill with chocolate gold coins or popcorn – or any other festive goodies for that matter!
Upcycled Leprechaun Hat Treat Cups – Another twist on the leprechaun. These use materials that you most likely have stashed away from Christmas.
Shamrock Paper Lantern – OK, this isn’t a DIY, but it’s so fun and will make your house SO…GREEN!
St. Paddy’s Day Cupcakes – Because who doesn’t love a good cupcake?!
Vodka Kiwi Sour Cocktail – Get your fill of green drinks without the food coloring! Plus, what a great way to start bringing spring back into the mix.
Lucky Leprechaun Cocktail – Perfect for a dessert drink!
