Thanksgiving can be…expensive. From food to flatware, it adds up! I want to glam up by table this fall because, well, I really love food and I really love glam. #whyfightit In my quest for a perfect, yet affordable tablescape, I found these amazing Thanksgiving centerpieces for every budget – I’ll be having centerpiece dreams for the next two weeks.! No Joke.
Easy DIY Thanksgiving Table Centerpieces
Gorgeous DIY Leaf Centerpiece – I love this simple, cheap, and easy project!
Mason Jar Vases – You can craft these with mason jars you already have in the pantry (I love the mismatched look) and leftover fabric from other projects. Or, click here to have them shipped straight to your door – anything to save time these days!
Fresh Produce Centerpiece – When you’re at the store buying last minute ingredients, stock up on vibrant fruits & veggies such as purple cabbage, kale, red grapes, and pears and arrange on your table – a literal farm-to-table experience! For added pizzazz, place next to a wicker pumpkin or traditional cornucopia.
Floral Pumpkin Centerpiece – You can also get almost everything you need for this at your local store. And it’s a great way to brighten up the table!
Succulents Display – This has Southern California written ALL over it! And, unlike traditional floral centerpieces, these will last a long time and look great for months to come. I have a tendency to kill every plant that comes near me, so I typically fill my home and patio with these no-fuss delights. These cake stands are a great way to showcase your plants!
Log and Taper Candles – These rustic candles will also translate well surrounded by holly and pine cones for Christmas.
Fall Pumpkins – These fall pumpkins are perfect for a cute table.
Outdoor-Inspired Tablescape – Fall is such a beautiful time of year – if you can’t set your table outdoors (I’m lucky enough to do this most years) then bring some of the elements inside. I love using wood slabs (these ones are affordable and can easily be repurposed), mini pumpkins from the store, and natural foliage from the yard.
Alternatively Colored Tablescape – Consider branching out and choosing a color palette your guests won’t expect, like the bright blues featured here, at Giggles Galore. It’s nice to get out of those warm autumn colors every now and then…sorry pumpkins!
And while the main table will be beautiful and festive, don’t forget about the kiddos!
Here are some great ways to glam up the kids’ table this Thanksgiving (and keep them occupied):
Printable Thanksgiving Table Setting for Kids – Coloring pages! Cute placemats! Name cards! So many fun things in this printable table setting for kids.
Wine Bottle Turkey – This is quirky and cute centerpiece doesn’t require much to make. And it gives you an excuse to have a few glasses of wine before making it #craftingperks Don’t drink wine? You can buy empty wine bottles here, or use any other empty glass bottle, such as olive oil.
DIY Tablecloth and Turkey Games – Let the kids make their own tablecloth with “hand turkeys.” Super cute and simple. Leave coloring pages and crayons, or a simple DIY turkey game on the table so you can enjoy some adult time.
Turkey Boxes – Have kids make their own turkey boxes while you cook dinner. Put one of the older cousins in charge (my sister loved being the all-important Supervisor when we were young) and fill them with Crayons. Use these free printable Thanksgiving Placemats to keep your table safe 🙂
Dessert Table – Show off all your yummy homemade desserts with a cute and affordable display table! Kids will love this (obviously), and so will the grown-ups.
